I am contacting you from the Wilderness Foundation UK, based in Essex. We provide fun, interactive environmental workshops for children and young people in our 40 acre outdoor classroom. We are interested in engaging children learning outside of the school system as to date all of our visitors are mainstream schools. We cover many subjects such as Biodiversity, Farm to Fork, Evolution and much more in creative and hands-on ways. We are very interested in connecting with home-school networks and potentially hosting workshops for groups of home-schooled children. Our rates are very affordable, £5.50 per child, minimum 5 children per group. There are more details on our website, we would love to hear from you.

Hello
I am emailing you with regards to home education support. I have been in contact with the Home Education Administrator for Dorset, Kate Williams, who has advised me that there may be a need for children who are being home-schooled, are temporarily out of school or transitioning back to school to receive extra support. She has passed on your contact details to us.
We are currently operating an after-school tutoring business for children from both primary and secondary ages. We are developing further programmes for children during school hours to receive extra support – this will not replace school or home education, but rather act as a basis of regular support. We intend to run small group sessions for children, but will also be happy to offer 1:1 support if required.
Our current employees all come from teaching backgrounds and have qualifications from a range of subjects at both primary and secondary levels. We would like to offer a flexible programme for pupils, either providing regular support at the frequency preferred by pupils or parents, within workshops or on an “as and when” basis.
I would be most grateful if you could let me know whether you feel this is something that the home education community would be interested in hearing more information about, in which case I could either make contact with parents or send further information about the services we would like to provide and our contact details to you to pass on.
